Bird watching in Australia is a rather unique experience as there are so much variety in landscapes and waterways that attract birds in the various season. Some migrate all the way from Russia and other parts of the northern hemisphere to reach these shores.

The National Parks, state forests, nature parks and reserves allare centred around the preservation of Australias flora and fauna and some are unique in the wolrd, like the Fitzgerald National Park on the south coast of Western Australia.
