Where can I find a place to stay while visiting Australia?
Well that depends on the type of accommodation you are looking for and there are a number of sites on the net you can visit.
Here are a few:
Can I work or find a job in Australia?
We can not answer that because you need to discuss this with the Australian Embassy and Consulates in your country. However many do come on a twelve month working visa.
What is Australian Currency like?
Australia was the first country in the world to have a complete system of bank notes based on plastic (polymer). These notes provide much greater security against counterfeiting. They also last four times as long as conventional paper (fibrous) notes.
The innovative technology by which the notes are produced, developed entirely in Australia, offers artists brilliant scope for the creation of images that reflect the histories and natural environments of their countries.
At the same time the polymer notes are cleaner than paper notes and easily recyclable. Australia's currency consists of coins of five, 10, 20 and 50 cent and one and two dollar denomination; and notes of five, 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollar denomination.

What credit cards can I use in Australia?
Most major credit cards are accepted incuding American Express - Mastercard - Visa.
Can I open a bank account in Australia before I arrive?
Well you can as long as the country you are arriving from operates exchange controls, you may find it difficult. If not, you should check with your current bank to see if it has any special links with an Australian bank. Once you arrive in Australia, you can open an bank account with no identification other than your passport for the first few weeks.
That depends on the bank - about 6 weeks is the normal. After that you will be required to complete additional forms and supply ID under the 100 point system that operates in Australia. A passport, driving licence and some credit cards are usually enough evidence to meet this requirement.
Are there any restrictions on taking money into or out of Australia?
Australia no longer operates Exchange Control, and Australian residents can move money into and out of the country, and take advantage of the sometimes offered savings. Australians can also invest overseas if and as they wish. BUT it must be noted that amounts of over AUD$10,000 in cash (but not bank drafts, or travellers cheques) must be reported to Australian customs when carried into or out of Australia.
What promotional and advertising opportunities can Australia My Land offer me?
There are a number of opportunities available to you.
