AFL (Aussie Rules) GRAND FINAL

NRL (Rugby League) GRAND FINAL
The grand finale of the National Rugby League season. Now held at the famous Sydney Telstra Olympic Park Stadium in Western Sydney.
OCTOBER
AUSSIE RULES (SANFL) GRAND FINAL
Seen as the strongest state Aussie Rules league competition, the SOUTH AUSTRALIAN Aussie Rules Grand Final is a 'home-town' favourite among South Australians. First Sunday in October.
The Mountain is one of Australian sports greatest tests of endurance, even for V8 supercars. To drive around this track on a leisurely Sunday, as long as it is NOT the first in October, is a beautiful day out. But on THIS day even the kangaroos scatter. First Sunday in October.
BATHURST: CENTRAL WEST NEW SOUTH WALES
AUSTRALIAN MOTOR CYCLE GRAND PRIX
The picturesque setting of Phillip Island is like a holiday away from the bustle of most race-tracks, and a great family get-away watching the best bike riders in the world compete. First Sunday in October.
PHILLIP ISLAND: GIPPSLAND VICTORIA
NOVEMBER
Held at historic Flemington Racetack this is one of the countries and the worlds premier horse races; the longest track race in the world. A real test of a horses staying ability over 2 long miles. A festival all week. First Tuesday in November.
DECEMBER
Starts in Sydney Harbour, NSW and finishes in Hobart, Tasmania. Australia has some of each sports biggest events and Yachting is no exception. The Sydney to Hobart is a must see event for all ocean-going enthusiasts.
