APRIL
The Gateway to the Darling Downs, Toowoomba is at the crossroads of the east-west Warrego Highway and the north-south New England Highway. It is central to the Agricultural and diverse industries west of Brisbane, and all is seen at the Toowoomba Royal Show.
JULY
Exhibiting the rich diversity of the 'Top End' with it's natural and farming resources and Outback Lifestyle.
AUGUST
Queensland is the largest rural community in Australia and The Ekka (Exhibition) is a ritual for Queenslanders.
SEPTEMBER
Whether you are interested in music, animals or the wild and unusual, there is something to entertain you at the Royal Show.
Victoria's rich rural farming community provids the foundation for a tradition of local town agricultural shows, with Melbourne the springtime Royal Show it's centrepiece.
The Royal Perth Show aims to 'bridge the gap' between city and country WA, focusing on the many sectors of rural Western Australia including farming, horticultural and mining. September - October
This iconic ten day community festival is held during the spring season of September each year. The locals get involved with their gardens and love showing off their productions to the visitors who can even wander through selected gardens.
Swan Hill Show show features all the regular horse, produce and cultural displays and farming sections. Held on the last weekend of September.
SWAN HILL: MID-MURRAY VICTORIA
OCTOBER
Rural Tasmania and city businesses alike showcase their best produce, wares and services, a real "people's event" offering something for everyone. Late October.
The Mildura Show provides two amazing fireworks displays, performed out on the main oval to be seen all across the grounds. Held in mid-October.
Established in 1954 the Geelong Showgrounds is a regional multi-purpose community, recreational and event facility. The Showgrounds is home to the largest regional Royal Show in Australia. Held in mid-October.
