Travel in Australia
"We'd Luv to see ya! We have loads of interesting things to do"
Make Australia a Holiday Destination
It is quite easy to get around this large country. It is just on 4000 kilometres from east to west and nearly the same from DARWIN in the Northern Territory to HOBART on the south Island of Tasmania. You can fly to most of Australia in a few hours or take a leisurely train ride from PERTH to SYDNEY or from ADELAIDE to Cairns.
Once you ARRIVE IN AUSTRALIA you have a number of choices to let you get around and see the country. You can simply go with a
GUIDED TOUR and take it easy.
BUS/COACH and RAIL Tours are the most popular extended tours and you will find you can often be very flexible with some tour companies.
Coach or Bus Tours
Bus & Coach tour travelling allows you to stop, see, smell and touch and to spend a little time inspecting and taking
photos of what you see.
You can travel from the north to the south on the great Australian outback train THE GHAN and from the
Pacific Coast in Sydney in the east to the Indian Ocean and Perth on the West Coast on THE INDIAN PACIFIC.

Our offices and car display are just a few kilometres from Brisbane Airport. Ask us about our pre-arranged tours or plan a special occasion.
Or you may decide on your own daily itinerary and go by public transport, either by plane, rail or coach. Another great option is to be chauffeur driven to some of the local sightseeing destinations by a local who knows all about the area. You very own personalised tour! Many wedding car companies will arrange mid-week excursions and there are also services that will drive you around, a great option if you want to enjoy a few drinks on a wine tour for example.
You may need to book ahead on some of these services and in fact if you DO know where you want to go and when you can save quite a lot of money by booking a few weeks ahead.
On our TRAVELLING WITHIN AUSTRALIA pages you wil find links to rail and bus companies to help you plan ahead.
