GETTING AROUND MELBOURNE
Melbourne city has a great transport system including a city loop underground train network that can take you to all the major
stations include Flagstaff, Flinders Street, Melbourne Central, Parliament and Spencer Street. There's a wonderful city tram network, with one tram that's totally
free, that's the burgundy coloured city circle tram that operates from 10am till 6pm and runs every 10 minute. Buses in Melbourne are privatised
however they still support the train and tram network and you will find numerous bus stops throughout the city.
There are a number of taxi companies operating in Melbourne, Taxi's are all yellow, with a strip of yellow and green checks. Ferry services, yes there are
two that operate in Melbourne, travelling to Gem Pier in Williamstown, one from Melbourne city centre and another boat from Melbourne's St. Kilda district. Operating daily,
the ferry runs all year round. There are also a number of cruise options available in the Port Phillips Bay and along the scenic Yarra River.
Then there's the mini bus services and the chauffeur driven hire cars and we still have rent and drive your self and people do like to bicycle Melbourne is generally
very flat. There is good election Wedding vehicles you can have too.
