Hobart has a great public transport system, Government buses are easy to jump on and off and Metro Tasmania invites all tourists
(and residents) to experience bus travel in and around the metropolitan areas of Hobart.
Taxi's are in plentiful supply and you'll be able to get one most times
and there ready to take you on a tour or home. Many like to self drive in Hobart because there is so beautiful places, if you are driving take it easy, you'll find
most people here are courteous on the road. Walking is good! A fascinating walk that takes you underground to explore the route of the waterway that
convinced Lieutenant David Collins to base his settlement in Sullivan's Cove. The Hobart Rivulet runs down from Mt Wellington, and disappears beneath the city streets
and the shopping centre of modern Hobart. Salamanca Place is within walking distance from just anywhere in Hobart, when you reach the rivers edge and the old stone
warehouses. You're there! Grab a water taxi and take a trip to Sandy bay or there's Captain Fells Ferry maybe jump a chauffeur driven bus and
tour all over. If you select Tassy to get married you find plenty of wedding transportation operators.
Hobart is a magical, wonderful place and its very easy to get around, you will have fun!.
