WHAT TO DO, THINGS TO DO! To visit and enjoy and see everything in South Australia or for that matter Adelaide could take you years! The city
itself is an attraction in its beauty, wide tree and park lined boulevards, indices residents, guests and tourists to walk. You will want to spread out a little so jump
on the free hop on, hop off city buses or take the tram as it carries you to all the cities sights and right to the beach at Glenelg.
Take a mini bus city shopping tour, that's fun. Then duck up to the Adelaide Hills by train for lunch at Hahndorf, a picturesque village that is a renowned premier tourist
town. Lunch in one of the many café's, taste the wines and absorb the atmosphere. There are tours to the Barossa and Clare Valleys,
Australia's premier wine growing areas. There are still the museums, galleries, casino and much more to see after that.
Adelaide is another great city for sport. As well as priding itself in Aussie Rules it is also the premier state for soccer as well as having a number of surf lifesaving clubs along the stretch of beautiful beaches.
You could be a little tired after the day, but if not, there is still plenty to do, the pubs come to life at night and many have live bands, dancing and food. Adelaide has for a long time had a big reputation
for leading the music scene in Australia with many overseas acts getting a start in the City of Churches before anywhere else in the world. Only Adelaide Radio picked up Billy Joel's six and a half minute version of Pianoman and played it to 'death'.
You should not pass up eating in one Adelaide's great restaurants and there are many to select from with some of the best chefs in the world offering you the very
best culinary delights. Then there is still the recreational clubs, and bars that kick on, night cinema, or jump on a cruise boat, take a walk along the quiet and romantic
Torrens River Park, or just sit on a park bench and watch the sun set and sparkle on the waters of the ocean along one of the many beaches.
And we still haven't talked about the Arts Centres, Museums and Zoos. Just so much to do!
There is a brilliant blend of things to see and do in Adelaide. All you have to do is get here and make a choice!
