Port Fairy is the charming historic sea-side village found on the beautiful south-west coast of Victoria. The independent, community run, "folk, roots and beyond" music festival presents major international and national artists over a huge four day festival. Twenty venues in The Arena and around the village are host to concerts, theme concerts, jams, workshops, classes, talks, dancing, comedy and more. Early March

WOMAD is the World of Music, Arts and Dance, founded by the musician Peter Gabriel in 1982, and WOMADelaide, the Australian WOMAD festival, kicked off in 1992. Over the past 21 years it has become one of the nationís favourite outdoor festivals, not only because of the unique and extraordinary music it presents, but also because of its beautiful and friendly vibe.
