Moomba Festival is Melbourne?

Moomba Festival is held in Melbourne City every Labour Day long weekend in March.

The centrepiece of the Festival, is the world famous Moomba Parade that meanders through the heart of the city and along the banks of the Yarra River. The parade features bands playing, spectacular floats, clowns and every type of street and professional performers. Plus! numerous well-known Melbourne and Australian personalities.

The newly reinstated Moomba King and Queen also travel on a float waving to the public as they pass though the city. Every year and focuses is on the celebration of the harmonious and culturally diverse communities of the peoples Melbourne. The city is a distinctive, vibrant, modern and energetic place that really comes alive during the Moomba Festival capturing the hearts and imaginations of the locals and visitors.
