Perth and Fremantle Western Australia has some super beaches some stretching for kilometres. Scarborough is one and is set on the sun set coast only a short journey from Perth City. The white sand is easy on the feet and the views in any direction could only be classed as spectacular. The beach is patrolled by a number of surf lifesaving clubs.

Scarborough Beach and Perth Fremantle is the ideal place to enjoy an Indian Ocean vacation. The cities are fantastic the people welcoming and the sun set beaches outstanding.

Scarborough beach is one of the most interesting places to visit. You are able to do everything or nothing, the beach offers so much. Walking the beach paddling in the surf, enjoy watching others at play, play cricket or touch footy on the wide sandy foreshore, go swimming, take the surf board out, fish from any part of the expansive beach and that's only a little of what's on offer. Then when the sun goes down Scarborough light's up.

The expansive Scarborough Beach is surf life saver patrolled during summer when hundreds of bronzed Aussie turn up blending in with all the visitors and global tourists that arrive to enjoy all that the beach has to offer. The beach and water conditions are usually best in the morning avoiding the windy afternoons when the windsurfers and kite surfer turn up. Some of the other beaches that close to Scarborough are Trigg Beach to the north and Brighton Beach to the south. You will find parking is ample and public transport buses operate every few minutes to the beach from Perth train station. For those wishing to holiday there is plenty of accommodation along the coast.

Other interesting stuff. There are a number of interesting restaurants and cafes on the foreshore to select from, or if you are a picnic lover and are looking for the shade and grassed areas that's all the to including public barbecues and gazebos.

Scarborough Beach and the adjoining beaches offer the board rider a number of left and rights and a sweet beach break that can be fun when things are quite.

The regular swell is reasonably constant and sometimes offering impressive waves and breaks all a long the coast. Scarborough beach is also a favourite with body-boarders and very popular with the wind and kite surfers in the afternoons when the wind get up.
