The money you save in petrol pulling a caravan will easily cover the cost of staying in a comfortable motel and there is no need to unhook the caravan, wind down the stabilises and connect up to the water and electricity, put up the annex, grab the fold up chairs, turn on the fridge. "Phew" I'm worn out just thinking about it.

"Hey" I must say I'm not knocking the idea of caravanning, some people love it, just give me a flashy convertible any day! Or for that matter a beat up VW. I can still see the sights and enjoy a glass of wine before the bloke with the van has setup. Why not take a short city break to try a few motels out? Stay a couple of night's and see the sights, have a beer in the local hotel, not a bad way to spend a werek end?

How about a romantic getaway by the sea, take your partner away for a few days, head up or down the coast, inland may be, JUST GO!.
