"From Country Paddocks to Big City Stadiums"

Aussies love their music and from Country and Western to Classical the devotion is intense

It is interesting that a recent report based on a rather intense survey showed that the more people loved their sport they also were interested in Music and the Arts, strangely enough those interested in Aussie more so!

Aussies take an interest in a numnber of different types of music and therefore everything from the very sophisticated to the very basic is enjoyed. There are regular music events and festivals held every year to celebrate a variety of different music genres in a number of different venues.

The famous Tamworth Country and Western Music Festival is literally held on the streets of Tamworth while the Gympie Muster and Woodford Music Festivals are held in open paddocks much like the original Woodstock Rock Festival. There are Blues Festivals and Opera Seasons and then there are the heritage based Music Festivals like the Greek Festival in Melbourne.
