The Spectacular Outback
The Unbelievable Red Centre
Desert Nights
Long White Sandy Beaches
The Great Barrier Reef
Tropical Rainforests

Australia provides visitors with a dazzling array of attractions. The brochures and advertising material are very pretty, as are the photos brought back by friends who have raved over Australia and its friendly people, however to REALLY enjoy Australia's attractions you need to COME HERE and enjoy yourself.

Listen to the Native Australians, the Aboriginals, as they talk about the Dreamtime and what happened during that period; listen as the sound of the hollow didgeridoo wallows through the bush.

"Come to our land and experience it!!" Enjoy the wilderness, admire the ancient cave paintings, and absorb your surroundings while paddling in a gum tree ringed bush billabong, watch a desert sunset and sleep under the broad star filled sky.

Take a Four Wheel drive holiday throught the outback.

There is much more to Australia than the outback. Australia has some of the most diverse sightseeing locations in the world.

Australia is an island continent, comprising a vast beautiful coastline and much to see. There are the Snowy Mountains, where people come from all around the world to ski some of the finest snow-covered slopes.

Then hop off to the cleanest beaches anywhere. And do not forget to visit the open plains and deserts, the sub-tropical and tropical rainforests, or the small off-shore islands that you can almost swim to, like the Whitsunday Islands. Then there are beautiful places like The Great Barrier Reef or The Bungle Bungle Mountains.

Australian Beaches

Now for the states and cities.

Sydney in New South Wales is truly a spectacular city, with its famous harbour and cruises, its 'coat hanger' bridge, the 'sailed' Opera house, Luna Park, fabulous restaurants and wonderful night life. A photographers dream. Visit Darling Harbour, Kings Cross and our fantastic beaches. There is more to Sydney than the harbour. In just a short drive you can be in the Blue Mountains, the Jenolan Caves, Lithgow and the wine country enjoying a glass of Australia's world famous wines. Or go further to the outback towns.

Brisbane in Queensland is in a beautiful setting beside its famous river, with a great night life, river cruises and ferry rides, and it is known as the gateway to the north. A short journey and you will find the Gold Coast and its Casino, and the best theme parks in the world; Dreamworld, Warner Bros, Wet and Wild and Sea World.

Then go on up to the Sunshine Coast, Frazer Island, Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo at Beewah and the fantastic surf beaches from Caloundra to Noosa.

Many board riders, or surfers, head to Queensland but there is great surf all over Australia. In fact, Australia has some of the most diverse surfing locations in the world. Many of the websites mention Kirra, Bells and Margaret River and these ARE some of the best in the world, but there are many, many more reef, point and beach breaks.

Canberra our capital city is situated in The Australian Capital Territory. Canberra is a beautifully planned city where we have built the most fantastic Parliament House as well as the official Australian War Memorial and our National Museum. Around Canberra there are satellite townships with their own village type shopping centres and restaurants. Kingston is a great example. There is a lot of very interesting things to see and great places to visit.

Melbourne in Victoria is one of our shining lights, set on the Yarra River. Home of many world events, like the Australian Open and the Australian Grand Prix, Melbourne is the city of trams and culture, art galleries, theatres and restaurants. Geelong is famous for the worlds very first football club. There are fantastic places to drive like the Great Ocean Road, where you will see the Twelve Apostles rock formations. Surfers will have heard of Bells Beach and Torquay which is where they invented board shorts. The Dandenong Ranges and many wine cellar doors and farming communities are just a short drive from the city centre.

Hobart in Tasmania. You will love Tasmania but rug up! While it is not freezing all year it can get pretty cool. Like other parts of Australia Tasmania has its claims to fame. One, it is home to the finish of the world famous Sydney to Hobart yacht race plus it has a great casino set on the Derwent River. You must visit Port Arthur and the convict built buildings, just to get a feel of and see the history. Do the Wilderness walks. They call Tasmania the Apple Isle, you can guess why? It is a beautiful place and it will not disappoint well worth the trip.
