        Join AML as a Member

The Forum will come up in a separate browser. If it does NOT appear check your taskbar at the bottom of your computer screen or your 'pop-up blocker' settings.

If it HAS blocked it you can ask your browser program to remember this as a 'safe' page and it will remember it, hopefully!! Usually there is a menu by clicking the right hand mouse button but each computer and each program are different so you may need to search a little.

The Forum page consists of the header with links around the forum - some are only for the administrator of the Forum - the AML logo on the left and an annoying banner ad that we are negotiating to get rid of as we speak.

Under that there is a list of forums that are currently on the site, then under that a summary of who is online and other details and under THAT a place to log-in, HOWEVER!

BEFORE you are able to log-in the first time, you will need to REGISTER as a user of the forum. To do this click on the Register link at the top right hand corner of the page and a page opens with the "Terms and Conditions" for using the site. Click on the appropiate link which will take you to the Registration Information Form.

Choose a selected username, your AML-AM Club Membership username would be good; then enter your e-mail address and create a password. Write these down somewhere for safe keeping, the alloted space on your AML-AM Members Welcome letter would be ideal.

Next type the Confirmation Code that appears on the form - that squiggly writing - in the text box and then select your preferences for when you contribute to the Forum.

Click the Submit button and you are finished; that part.

A page will come up saying 'thank you ... you may now log-in with your username and password'; there is a link to return to the original Forum Entry Page.

Return and log in to the Forum in the box at the bottom of the page.

The administrator will set up new forums as appropiate but at the moment there is just one titled "Welcome to AML Members Club".

Click on the title and it opens up another page with a list of topics that people have started in the Forum.

The list shows the topic, the number of replies, the author of the original topic and how many people have veiwed the topic.

Click on a topic and a page opens with the message posted by the author with details about it. There is a link to see the profile of the author and a link that allows you to send them a private message.

Above and below are links that allow you to Post a Reply or even start your own New Topic.

Apart from you now going there and finding your way around the forum a bit more there is not much more to say. Have fun and enjoy meeting new people. Oh! And if you find a post that you put on the forum has dissappeared it is likely that the Administrators found it a little offensive and thus removed it. So please try and keep posts, particularly business posts, relevent to the topic, not too long and free of language that may offend.

You may also find the other links there very helpful too.
